Demonstration of Radioactivity from Thyroid Cancer Treatment

Q: What do you do when you are 1) a nerd, 2) just received a high dose of a radioactive substance in your body, and 3) have nothing else to do because you can hardly concentrate?

A: You make a teaching video illustrating radiation.

The really interesting thing is that the dose of Iodine was actually 1.2 micrograms which equates to 5.5 billion radiation particles per second. A teaspoon of table salt contains this much non-radioactive Iodine!
