The second International Thyroid Awareness Week 2010 (24 -- 30 May 2010) has been organised to help unlock the secrets of the thyroid for parents and expectant / new mothers. The campaign is supported by Thyroid Federation International and Merck Serono to raise awareness and educate people about the critical role the thyroid plays in our wellbeing. The initiative is also endorsed by the European Thyroid Association and the Latin American Thyroid Society.
